Position Overview

On behalf of a premier global financial technology provider, we are seeking a high-caliber Senior Sales Executive (Hunter) to lead the strategic US expansion of their flagship Collateral Management and Risk solution.

Our client occupies a unique “inflection point” in the market: they boast the global brand equity, market authority, and Tier-1 referenceable accounts of an industry giant (including some of the world’s largest banking institutions), yet their US sales operation remains lean, agile, and highly profitable. Reporting directly to the General Manager for the US, the successful candidate will drive net-new business acquisition across both buy-side and sell-side institutions.

This role offers a sophisticated software sales professional the backing of a massive global infrastructure combined with the high-impact environment of a lean growth team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Net-New Revenue: Act as the primary hunter covering US capital markets, identifying and closing new enterprise business within major buy-side and sell-side financial institutions.
  • Navigate Complex Sales Cycles: Effectively manage sophisticated, high-value sales cycles ranging from 4 to 12 months.
  • Execute Strategic Account Mapping: Engage, influence, and build trust with C-level executives, risk officers, and key decision-makers across the investment and regulatory space.
  • Leverage Internal Resources: Partner closely with an established internal team to deliver compelling, solution-oriented presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Proven Territory Success: This is a verified, high-performing territory rather than an unproven “test” market. Existing reps have a track record of consistently attaining or exceeding quota for multiple consecutive years.
  • Market Authority: The position leads commercial efforts for a globally recognized, flagship platform considered an industry leader in the regulatory, risk, and collateral management ecosystem.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Capital Markets Expertise: A proven track record of selling complex, enterprise software solutions into Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets.
  • Sales Sophistication: Comfortable navigating the long, complex 4–12 month sales cycles inherent to major financial institutions.
  • Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of financial technology, risk management, or regulatory compliance. (While direct collateral management software experience is a plus, a background with a direct competitor is not required).
  • Hunter Mindset: High autonomy, self-motivated, and energized by the opportunity to expand a territory with a premium, highly referenceable product.
