Enterprise Account Executive — Financial Services AI SaaS

About the Opportunity

We are partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, AI-powered SaaS platform at a pivotal moment in their US expansion. This is a newly created role — not a backfill — within a company that is trusted by 8 of the 10 largest US banks and counts some of the country’s most recognizable financial institutions among its clients.

Our client is rebuilding and scaling their US sales function, and this hire is central to that mandate. If you are a hunter who has built enterprise pipeline from scratch, thrives without a pre-built playbook, and has deep experience selling into financial services, this is worth a conversation.

The Role

The Enterprise Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for a defined set of enterprise accounts across the financial services market — retail banks, credit unions, and consumer fintech companies. You will be selling a highly differentiated AI platform into performance marketing and CRM teams at major financial institutions, with deal sizes ranging from $50K entry points to seven-figure enterprise contracts on a consumption-based model.

This is an individual contributor role with a direct line to senior leadership and significant influence over how the US sales motion is built.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business acquisition and account expansion across a defined set of enterprise financial services accounts
  • Build and manage your own pipeline from the ground up using consultative, value-based selling
  • Engage CMOs, VPs of Performance Marketing, Heads of CRM, and Digital leaders at banks, credit unions, and consumer fintech companies
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles including compliance, legal, procurement, and AI governance reviews common in regulated industries
  • Develop strategic account plans, run executive QBRs, and identify upsell and expansion opportunities within the existing client base
  • Operate autonomously in a lean, growth-stage environment — owning the full cycle from prospecting through close
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, and Leadership teams to shape the go-to-market motion

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota
  • Deep experience selling into retail banking, credit unions, or consumer fintech — you understand how these organizations buy and who the real decision-makers are
  • Experience selling to marketing, digital, or CRM buyers — or a demonstrated ability to navigate from your existing FS relationships into those teams
  • Proven hunter mentality — you have built pipeline from scratch and can point to specific examples of greenfield territory development
  • Comfort operating in a lean, growth-stage environment without a large support infrastructure
  • Intellectual curiosity and fluency in AI — you understand how AI platforms are evaluated, governed, and adopted inside regulated enterprises
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build a compelling business case from scratch
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or similar enterprise sales methodologies
  • East Coast based — preference for the Charlotte to New York / New Jersey corridor
