Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: Competitive Base + Bonus + Long-Term Incentives

We are seeking a VP of Engineering to lead a global engineering organization and help shape the future of a rapidly growing digital engineering consultancy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will be responsible for engineering strategy, AI initiatives, delivery excellence, organizational leadership, and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 200+ person global engineering organization across the US, UK, and India
• Define and execute the company’s engineering, cloud, and AI strategy
• Build and develop engineering leaders, teams, and delivery capabilities
• Partner with enterprise clients on technology strategy, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives
• Support solutioning, architecture discussions, and strategic client engagements
• Drive engineering standards, delivery excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support company growth and long-term strategy

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience
• Experience leading large global engineering organizations within a consulting, digital engineering, or technology services environment
• Strong background in cloud, modern application development, AI, and enterprise technology strategy
• Experience managing distributed delivery teams and global engineering operations
• Executive-level communication skills with the ability to engage CIOs, CTOs, and senior business stakeholders
• Proven track record building and scaling engineering teams, processes, and delivery organizations

Ideal Background

Experience from digital engineering consultancies, technology services firms, systems integrators, or software development organizations with expertise in custom software development, cloud transformation, AI, data, and digital modernization.
