Regional Vice President of Sales, West Region

The Opportunity: Build the West From the Ground Up

Are you a healthcare sales leader who thrives on complex, multi-stakeholder deals inside large hospital systems? Do you want ownership over a brand-new territory rather than inheriting someone else’s book? We invite you to seize a unique opportunity to build and own our presence across the western United States, playing a pivotal role as we scale our footprint with the country’s leading health systems.

We’ve spent years transforming from a traditional, manually-driven medical records services company into an increasingly automated, technology-enabled platform — without losing the human-backed support that complex health system work demands. Now, as our West Coast business grows, we’re looking for the right person to give this region the dedicated focus it’s outgrown.

Why This Role is Compelling:

  • A Territory Built for You, Not Inherited From Someone Else: The West has been managed part-time by company leadership up to this point. You’ll be the first dedicated owner of this region, with real latitude to shape how it’s built.
  • Warm Start, Real Upside: You’ll walk in with an existing book of business — including major academic health systems — to farm and grow, plus a strong marketing engine generating top-of-funnel demand, so you’re not starting from a cold desk.
  • High-Impact, High-Visibility Work: Success here directly fuels the company’s next stage of growth, and your work will be closely tied to senior leadership’s priorities.
  • Sell Something Genuinely Differentiated: You won’t be pitching a pure tech play or a pure services play — you’ll represent a hybrid model that most competitors can’t match, backed by both automation and a real human team.
  • Land-and-Expand, Not Just Hunting: This is a true mixed mandate — managing and growing existing accounts while also building net-new business across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Territory Ownership: Own a regional footprint across the western U.S., with flexibility on the specific states and markets you prioritize.
  • Account Growth & New Business: Manage and expand an existing portfolio of health system accounts while actively prospecting and closing new logos.
  • Multi-Stakeholder Deal Navigation: Lead complex sales processes involving IT, procurement, department leaders, and executive sponsors — and know how to move a deal past any one of them getting stuck.
  • Clinical Focus Areas: Concentrate primarily on oncology and transplant service lines, while identifying opportunities to expand into other departments across the health system.
  • Consultative, Assertive Selling: Ask the right discovery questions, hold prospects accountable to timelines, and drive deals to closure rather than letting them stall.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with marketing, business development, clinical sales support, and customer success to build pipeline and deliver a strong client experience from first conversation through go-live.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has a proven track record selling into enterprise health systems, with real comfort navigating long, multi-stakeholder hospital sales cycles.
  • Can speak credibly to both technology and service — this isn’t a pure SaaS pitch or a pure services pitch.
  • Brings a consultative, question-first sales style and isn’t afraid to push clients toward a decision.
  • Has genuine experience both managing and growing existing accounts and hunting net-new business.
  • Is comfortable building relationships beyond the initial point of contact — up to department leaders, C-suite, and beyond.
  • Is based in, or willing to relocate to, the western United States.

Your Impact:

This role is central to our next phase of growth. You’ll be instrumental in:

  • Establishing dedicated, full-time coverage in a region that’s been under-resourced relative to its potential.
  • Growing our footprint within major health systems already in our portfolio.
  • Bringing new hospital and health system logos into our client base.
  • Proving out a scalable model for regional ownership that could shape how we expand into future territories.
