Sales
This role exists to turn scientific trust into commercial momentum. You will open the right conversations with biopharma, health systems, CROs, and research organizations, and convert them into work that improves how clinical decisions get made. Success is not activity. It is revenue tied to problems that demand accuracy, rigor, and durable AI capability.
Performance Objectives
- Build a qualified pipeline of life-sciences and healthcare buyers whose problems match advanced clinical AI, not generic automation.
- Convert first conversations into scoped engagements by translating patient-journey and clinical-development use cases into clear commercial outcomes.
- Close new logos and expansions against agreed revenue targets, with proposals scientific and engineering leaders can stand behind.
- Run discovery that surfaces decision rights, data constraints, regulatory sensitivity, and success metrics before a statement of work is written.
- Partner with research and delivery so every commitment on timeline, accuracy, and scope is executable.
- Establish a repeatable sales motion—messaging, qualification, and stakeholder maps—that a small team can run without you in every room.
- Protect trust: decline work that cannot be delivered with scientific integrity.
Environment & Resources
You will sit with a small, early-stage team of AI engineers and clinical and biological experts. You report to founding leadership, with direct access to the researchers who shape the offer. The stack is light: CRM, proposal templates, and technical briefings rather than a large sales apparatus. Spend is founder-approved and tied to pipeline quality, not activity volume. You sell services and systems where clinical data, longitudinal patient context, and decision support are the product.
Essential Qualifications
- A record of closing complex B2B work with biopharma, health systems, CROs, or regulated research buyers.
- Ability to run technical discovery with clinicians, data leaders, and procurement without overselling model capability.
- Experience structuring services or platform engagements across multi-stakeholder buying committees.
- Comfort owning a number in an early company: pipeline math, honest forecasts, and hands-on outreach.
- Writing clear enough that clinical and executive audiences both trust it.
Role Selling Points
- Sell work where accuracy is the product, not a slide.
- Shape the offer with the people who build it, not a distant product organization.
- An early seat: the motion you build becomes the commercial system.
- Buyers who need judgment, not another demo.
