Role Overview

This role focuses on driving net-new revenue growth and managing strategic relationships within top-tier global banking institutions. Operating as a senior individual contributor, the ideal candidate will possess a proven “hunter” mentality and a sophisticated, consultative sales approach tailored to navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles within large commercial and retail banking networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Deal Execution: Drive full-cycle sales initiatives targeting Tier-1 and Tier-2 banks, consistently closing complex software platform deals with an average contract value of $1M+ ARR.
  • Executive Engagement: Establish, cultivate, and maintain deep relationships with C-level executives, specifically across technology, risk, legal, and banking operations divisions.
  • Territory Management: Maximize market penetration within assigned strategic banking accounts through precise account planning, proactive prospecting, and value-based solution selling.
  • Pipeline Velocity: Leverage advanced sales methodologies (such as MEDDPIC or Challenger) to accurately forecast, qualify opportunities, and accelerate complex contract negotiations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal technical specialists, product teams, and executive sponsors to align enterprise-grade solutions with client business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Location: Must reside within the New York Tri-State area (NY, NJ, or CT) to facilitate regular, face-to-face engagement with localized financial hub clients.
  • Proven Performance: A verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar annual quotas as a top revenue producer in enterprise software sales.
  • Vertical Expertise: Deep, existing network and established credibility within major financial institutions and global banking entities.
  • Deal Size Complexity: Demonstrated success in regularly executing and closing large-scale enterprise platform agreements valued at $1M+ ARR.
  • Sales Methodology: Expert-level command of disciplined, metrics-driven enterprise sales frameworks.
